ZOE WALKER & NEIL BROMWICH

Friendly Frontier, 2005 – ongoing

Friendly Frontier is an inflatable mountain range equipped with emergency slides to bridge international borders. The symbolic territory is a problem and a solution in itself – the mountain range, a natural border between nations, is transformed into a buoyancy aid for countries in conflict and a symbol of open borders able to be deployed at a moment’s notice.
