MEGAN CALVER & GABRIELLE HOAD
Lean, 2018
Things are not as level as they appear
Inspired by a local wonky shed, Megan Calver and Gabrielle Hoad invite visitors to join them in leaning. Bodies and found objects will be leant, propped and occasionally toppled to explore support and opposition. Prizes will be awarded for notable leaning. Look out for the duo with yellow toolbox on a street near you!

About the artists
Frequent collaborators since 2015, Megan Calver and Gabrielle Hoad share an interest in generating site-responsive work through oblique approaches to field study. Investigating places and their inhabitants in a spirit of imaginative rather than empirical discovery, their approach often draws on the input of human and nonhuman participants.
